Judith Klein

Judith Klein

Judith Klein is a jeweler and mixed media artist who lives and works in Beverly. She loves to find new lives for old metal pieces, wood, bottles, nests, and fine china, and sees beauty in the oddest of objects. Her jewelry often includes old keyholes and brass furniture hardware, small parts that have fallen off cars, copper flashing from roofs, and other paraphernalia. Her mixed media creations may have nests of shredded pages from a book or a bird with legs made from a rusted stake. Judith’s appreciation for the likes of washers and screws first developed during Saturday morning trips to the hardware store with her father when she was a little girl. Her appreciation for art was nourished by childhood trips to museums in nearby New York City and watching her father create clay sculptures in his basement studio. Judith, a communications and marketing consultant, is the originator and curator of the annual Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit at Pingree School in South Hamilton.
