Artistic Perceptions Design Studio

Caroline Saccone grew up in Peabody, Massachusetts. She grew up with Art, growing up with an artistic father who painted and a creative mother who made crafts for the house. She had been exposed to arts for as long as she can remember. Her mother and father, both artistic and creative that cultivated her interest in the arts by providing art supplies and creative expression at an early age. Her interest in drawing and painting began early in her childhood and spent her childhood drawing and painting. Art for Caroline is a safe place and sees it as a way to organize her thoughts and create stability. These passions have sustained and continued throughout her life. There is no subject that is beyond her extraordinary capabilities. The full-time artist.
With a unique eye for color. Caroline regularly creates privately commissioned color-inspired, detailed, upbeat paintings.
Her love for style, design, and fashion came from her seven years spent in the fashion industry. In 2005 she worked for M De Arriaga as head designer where she learned everything she needed. 2006 she was able to start her own company and clothing line CATALINA by Caroline Saccone. This is what inspired her concept for a unique and stylish Collection of Fashion paintings and offers an array of unique and original pieces of art.
Saccone left a full-time job, a business, and a fashion career to pursue the arts. Caroline says, “Artistic Perceptions Design Studio allows me the opportunity to be creative everyday. I love what I do and I’m passionate about it! I’m truly blessed!”

Her signature style was first popularized through a series of fashion paintings and famous icon portraits and more recently through a collection of deep feelings and new mixed media paintings. The content is secondary to the communication of the emotion.
I seek expression and the natural course of life, time, and art, which leaves its mark.
Wanting to portray my own definition of a moment in time, an object, or people that have crossed my path, is how painting began for me. Painting gives me the privilege of creating a certain order to things, and giving a life to what may have otherwise been overlooked. Textures, emotions, shadows, relationships, all play a part in the evolution of the image. A place of curiosity, and a reward of new beginnings, has been a continuous incentive and the inner spirit of my work.
My paintings reflect my ongoing obsession with layers and what lies beneath. Layers of paint, texture, and paper overlap and interact building a complex terrain. These images are metaphors for the unconscious mind as it processes an infinite stream of information, ideas, and feelings.
