Join downtown businesses that have this flyer on their door! Come for treats, raffles & caroling!
All day long, these downtown businesses will be celebrating Merry Main Streets! Many will be having open houses or they might be offering special treats or discounts. Lots of businesses will be vying for one of the "best holiday decorations" awards! And we are once again offering every downtown customer the opportunity to enter a free raffle for one of our holiday gift baskets, filled with gifts and gift certificates from downtown businesses. Then at 5:30, join us for caroling downtown! We have several church and school groups as well as singers from the North Shore Music Theater. We'll meet at 5:30 at the Beverly Depot to greet a couple of commuter trains. Then we'll start strolling the downtown area on Cabot, Rantoul and Elliott Streets. Bring the kids and come on down!
The gift basket raffles are free! Each time you shop or visit a downtown business that's listed below, you can enter to win one of 8 gift baskets. We have divided up all the gifts and gift certificates from downtown businesses who have been VERY generous with their donations and Linda Giallongo, one of our volunteers, is making up 8 beautiful baskets. When you see the green Beverly Main Streets gift box on the counter, ask for a raffle ticket. Put your name and phone number on the back and you might win one of the baskets! The drawings for the baskets will be held on Friday, December 19 and we'll notify the winners by phone.
