Announcing the 2008 Façade Improvement Program Grant Recipients 

In 2008, we awarded Facade Improvement Grants to the following downtown businesses: 

A New Leaf

CCI Reprographics

Chianti Tuscan Restaurant

Todd's Sporting Goods

Ward's Florist

Each of these businesses was given help with their design plans by a very talented team of volunteers that included local architects Bill Frangos, Thad Siemasko and Joe Zelloe and local designers Donna Musumeci and Martha Sutyak.  Watch for the new storefronts in progress now!

Program Overview

Are you a downtown business or property owner?  Beverly Main Streets has a new Façade Improvement Program to help you spruce up your storefront just in time for spring and summer visitors!

Working with the City of Beverly, Main Streets has developed a comprehensive package of incentives for downtown property owners and business tenants to improve and rehabilitate building storefronts.  The incentives include:

• Matching grants of up to $5,000
• Low-interest loans of up to $40,000 with attractive financing terms from Beverly Cooperative Bank and Beverly National Bank
• Free design assistance for grant recipients

The program starts on April 15.  Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.  We already have interest from almost 20 businesses so get your application in early!
